Team Responsive Schools came together as part of Cohort 3 of the the Clinical Scholars Program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The team exists to solve the "wicked problem" of trauma and secondary trauma that exists in schools in the Indianapolis area.
Between October of 2018 and December of 2021, the team created and implemented three projects. On this website you will find information including videos detailing a program to combat secondary trauma intervention for school personnel, a survey of the social and emotional impact of Covid on school personnel, and an introduction to a pilot of a program for African American male youth at risk entitled Gents for Success.
